Complete Transformation for an Improved Bathroom Experience
In this project, we redesigned a bathroom in Olney, MD, replacing the tub with a modern shower. We installed MOEN faucets, a double sink with granite countertop, and upgraded the lighting and fixtures. This redesign not only modernizes the space, but also significantly improves the functionality of the bathroom. High quality materials and advanced techniques were used to ensure durability and comfort.
Work done
A complete modification was made in this bathroom, changing the bathtub for a shower and updating all the faucets to MOEN. Copper pipes were added for the new double sink, and the position of the shower faucet was changed. We installed porcelain on the shower walls and travertine on the floor. We also added a light fixture and a 24″x24″ niche. The shower door has a brushed nickel finish, and a new toilet and modern fixtures were included.

Components and Tools Used
We used high-quality MOEN faucets, copper pipes for the new plumbing, and imported porcelain for the shower walls. Travertine was used on the shower floor, and it was waterproofed with plastic and a 2″ thick cement mortar. The granite countertop and new bathroom accessories complete the redesign, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing and functional space.
Safety Steps and Devices
To carry out this project, several essential steps were followed, starting with demolition and checking the pipes to ensure there were no leaks. Next, the new plumbing was installed and the shower faucet position was changed. The shower floor was waterproofed with plastic and cement mortar to prevent leaks. Finally, the porcelain walls, granite countertop and bathroom fixtures were installed, ensuring each stage met safety and quality standards.
